Peaches
Sun-blushed, fragrant and juicy — classic round and flat (donut) peaches.
Our peaches grow on GF677, Garnem and Rootpac 20 rootstocks in high-density trellis orchards, with every canopy shaped to let in the light evenly. This gives a vivid blush and high sugar content (Brix) both in classic round peaches and in the especially sweet, low-acid flat varieties (Prunus persica var. platycarpa).
Stone fruit needs careful handling, so we set the harvest window by measuring flesh firmness with a penetrometer. Picked at that point, the peaches stay firm through optical grading, cold storage and export, then soften naturally into melting, highly aromatic fruit by the time they reach the consumer.

Good to know
Vitamins and fibre
Peaches contain vitamin C, beta-carotene (provitamin A), potassium and dietary fibre. At almost 90% water, they are a light, refreshing snack on a hot day.
Ripe and fragrant
Flat peaches are famously sweet and almost acid-free, at their best eaten fresh. Let firmer fruit ripen at room temperature and chill it only once ripe: the fridge slows ripening and can make the flesh mealy.
Perfect pairings
On the grill, the natural sugars of round peaches caramelise beautifully alongside savoury meats. They pair perfectly with fresh burrata, basil and prosciutto, and bring summer salads and rustic galettes to life.
